Lucht Probst Associates (LPA) acquires Swiss financial platform payoff.ch

Frankfurt am Main / Zurich, October 30, 2025 – Lucht Probst Associates GmbH (LPA), a leading European provider of financial software and CapTech solutions, has acquired payoff AG, the operator of the financial platform payoff.ch. With this acquisition, LPA strengthens its presence within the important Swiss financial center and expands its service portfolio in the area of content, data and analytics for issuers, distributors, asset managers and fund providers.
payoff is the leading independent source of information for smart investment solutions in Switzerland. The company offers daily news, research, and events related to structured products, derivatives, and ETFs. In addition to the monthly magazine payoff, the company operates the financial portal payoff.ch and publishes renowned specialist publications such as the Swiss Yearbook for Structured Products, the ETP & Indexing Guide, and the Swiss ESG Guide. Since 2006, payoff has also organized the annual Swiss Derivative Awards, which recognize innovative products and outstanding achievements in the Swiss structured products market.
Following the integration of DDS, a leading provider of structured financial product data, the acquisition of payoff marks the next step in expanding LPA’s data and analytics capabilities. With access to comprehensive market, media, and product data, LPA is strengthening its position as a comprehensive data and technology partner in the capital markets. The combination of payoff’s market data expertise, DDS’ structured database, and LPA’s powerful analytics solutions – including independent valuations, stress and backtesting, and market conformity checks – creates a unique foundation for deeper market insights and data-driven innovation.
Serge Nussbaumer, CEO of payoff, explains:
“The merger will enable us to tailor payoff’s existing offering in Switzerland even more specifically to the needs of our industry. At the same time, becoming part of the LPA Group opens up new opportunities for us to further develop our concept internationally. We are very much looking forward to our future together.”
Stefan Lucht, founder and CEO of LPA, adds:
“LPA has been successfully supporting issuers and distributors in the structured products industry in their growth and expansion initiatives for many years. The merger with payoff not only strengthens our presence in Switzerland and our expertise in structured products, but also creates new opportunities for our customers and partners in the areas of content, data, and analytics.”
With this acquisition, LPA continues its strategic growth course and strengthens its position as a leading global data, analytics and technology partner in the market for structured financial products. Together with Payoff, we will build a unique ecosystem for data-driven market analysis and innovative financial technologies.
