Michelle Spencer joins LPA Asset Management Advisory Board
Appointment signals commitment to the Irish funds industry, bringing over 25 years of senior leadership experience in investment funds and asset management
Frankfurt / Dublin – 28.07.2026 – LPA (Lucht Probst Associates GmbH), a leading European regulatory technology provider for the asset management and banking sectors, today announced the appointment of Michelle Spencer to its newly established Asset Management Advisory Board. The appointment is a key step in LPA’s strategy to deepen its presence in the Irish funds market, one of Europe’s largest and most internationally significant fund domiciles.
Michelle Spencer is a Chartered Accountant and senior financial services leader with over 25 years’ experience spanning investment funds, asset management and industry representation. She has held Managing Director roles at International Fund Services Ireland Ltd (IFS), a State Street company and BNY Mellon Fund Services, and most recently served as Director of Member Services at Irish Funds, the representative body for the funds and asset management industry in Ireland. At Irish Funds, she led member engagement strategy across the industry, delivered a major organisational transformation programme, and advanced strategic initiatives in talent development, financial literacy and industry working group reform.
As one of the first employees of IFS’s Irish alternatives business, Michelle played a pivotal role in scaling the operation into an 850-person, multi-jurisdictional platform. She brings deep expertise in operating models, governance, regulatory infrastructure and stakeholder engagement and a proven track record of leading teams through significant growth and transformation.
LPA’s cloud-native Capmatix platform is designed to help asset managers and fund service providers consolidate fragmented regulatory reporting environments onto a single, modern technology stack. By replacing legacy systems and manual processes with an integrated solution spanning PRIIPs/KIDs, CCI, MiFID, AIFMD Annex IV, Solvency II and CRR, LPA enables firms to significantly reduce total cost of ownership while staying ahead of an increasingly demanding regulatory landscape. The platform currently serves approximately 200 clients across banking and asset management in multiple European jurisdictions.
Stefan Lucht, Chief Executive Officer of LPA, commented: “Ireland is one of Europe’s most important fund domiciles and a market where we see significant demand for robust, scalable regulatory reporting solutions. Michelle’s appointment to our Advisory Board reflects the seriousness of our commitment to this market. Her deep relationships across the Irish funds ecosystem, combined with her understanding of the operational and regulatory challenges asset managers and fund service providers face, make her the ideal person to represent LPA in Ireland.”
Michelle Spencer added: “I am delighted to join LPA’s Asset Management Advisory Board as it expands its presence in Ireland. The funds and asset management industry continues to face increased regulatory complexity, heightened data expectations and sustained cost pressure. LPA’s Capmatix platform and their approach to combining regulatory expertise with modern, scalable technology is exactly what the market needs. I look forward to supporting LPA’s continued growth and to help connect Asset Managers, Fund Administrators and other fund service providers with solutions that can make a real difference to their operations.”
