Junior Business Consultant Banking (m/f/d) – 80-100%

We are looking for an ambitious Consultant in Data Analysis, with ideally 0-3- years’ experience in banking and finance. You could be working together with various financial institutions on different mandates and being integrated into an experienced team who deliver client projects in the typical following areas:
 
  • Wealth Management 
  • Asset Management
  • Commercial Banking
 
Your tasks and responsibilities could include any aspects of the following:
 
  • Supporting or engaging in projects that drive significant business change within the Banking Industry that could affect anything from investment product solutions, front-to-back business processes or even financial regulatory reform
  • Undertaking business analysis and building sound requirements specifications to meet high-quality standards that support the design of a future-state based on key business goals
  • Supporting the structuring and tracking of complex projects with sound organisational and communication skills
  • Taking managerial responsibility for either small stand-alone projects or integral parts of a larger project framework to support the overall deliveries of an organisation applying traditional or agile delivery approaches
  • Applying data analytical skills to help solve scalable client solutions
  • Assisting the business-as-usual operation of a business unit or department with essential operational duties or legal obligations that ensure the success and compliance of the bank. 
  • You support management, coordinate and setup work groups, organize meeting series and facilitate workshops

Your ticket:

  • Swiss work permit, minimum B-Permit
  • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field, e.g., mathematics, data science, (quantitative) economics, (quantitative) finance or similar
  • Programming experience in Python, further programming languages a plus
  • Experience in working with large data sets, including time series
  • Good knowledge of databases and data processing (e.g., SQL)
  • You have a good knowledge of MS office (especially PowerPoint)
  • Capability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders 
  • Strong attention to detail with a logical and methodical approach to problem solving
  • Positive attitude, team working and confident communication skills that empower you and your colleagues to deliver excellence 
  • It would be a strong advantage to demonstrate previous consulting experience
