(Senior) Business Analyst (m/f/d) Asset Management

Your responsibilities

  • Analysis of complex customer requirements and implementation of solutions in collaboration with highly motivated colleagues.
  • Clarifying requirements and communicating with internal and external parties to ensure that requirements are properly understood before development begins
  • Definition of key workflows, edge cases, acceptance criteria and their clear documentation
  • Prioritising work tasks and communicating with developers
  • Supporting the development team, answering questions and defining missing requirements in coordination with the product owner
  • Collaborating with and supporting product managers
  • Maintaining current and past project documentation
  • Understanding the business value of the project and determining the contribution to it, together with the business and operations teams

Your profile

  • Above-average (university) degree in a technical, scientific or financial subject or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in modelling business processes and design techniques
  • At least 2 years of experience in a comparable position
  • Good knowledge of asset management and related processes
  • Practical experience working with agile teams (Scrum, Kanban) and collaboration tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps)
  • Excellent documentation skills to break down business requirements into epics and user stories
  • Ability to work independently and willingness to take responsibility for a subsystem or an entire project
  • Experience with financial markets applications and implementation
  • Critical thinking and strong problem solving skills
  • Team player and enjoy working with other team members
  • Good organisational skills and very good time management
  • Very good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Very good English and German language skills are a must
  • Good knowledge around financial markets, financial products and related operational processes
