Finance Assistant (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

As a Finance Assistant (m/f/d) you will support the accounting, reporting and management of accounts receivable and accounts payable. You will work closely with the Head of Operations and other departments to ensure the financial integrity and efficiency of the organization.

Key areas of responsibility:

Accounting & financial management

Preparation and administration of outgoing invoices
Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
Checking, account assignment and posting of incoming and outgoing invoices
Management of payment processes and dunning procedures
Reconciling accounts and making bank postings

Reporting & controlling

Participation in the preparation of financial reports and analyses
Support with budget planning and forecasting processes
Analysis of cost structures and identification of optimisation potential

Process optimization & projects

Participation in the optimization of financial processes and systems
Participation in projects in the area of digitalization and automation
Close cooperation with other departments to optimize interfaces

Your profile

Completed commercial training or a degree in finance or business administration
At least 2 years of experience in financial accounting or controlling; experience in a consulting or service company is an advantage
Sound knowledge of accounting and ERP systems such as Datev or Exact
Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working
Ability to work in a team and high communication skills
Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel
Fluency in German and English is required
