Software Developer (m/f/d) C++

Your responsibilities

Lucht Probst Associates has been providing banks and financial service providers with expert knowledge for their client business for over 25 years. Our software solutions are a key component of our success and that of our clients.

You will start at LPA as a (Junior) Software Developer (m/f/d) C++ at our office in Bodman-Ludwigshafen on Lake Constance and further develop our existing innovative, customized software solutions for the banking & financial services industry. These are used worldwide by banks and financial service providers and are based on a highly developed tech stack.

Your Tasks & Responsibilities will include
  • Further development of our software solutions for the capital markets business
  • Analysis of complex problems and the development of solutions in collaboration with highly motivated colleagues
  • Development of innovative applications, from prototyping through to the implementation of new projects
  • Carrying out developer tests and drawing up technical documentation
  • Clarification of any technical issues and the creation of IT concepts

Your profile

  • You have obtained a university degree in a technical or scientific subject with an above-average final mark, or you possess a comparable qualification
  • You have at minimum of 2 years of practical experience in software development in a full-time position
  • You are experienced in the practical application of C++, Qt, Visual Studio, Git
  • Existing experience with databases (Oracle) and .NET would be an advantage
  • You are interested in financial markets and financial products
  • You have a particularly well-developed capacity for abstraction as well as good analytical and conceptual abilities
  • You possess very good German and English language skills, both spoken and written
  • And not forgetting… a good sense of humour
