IT Controller (m/f/d)
Your responsibilities
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Informatics, Economics or Business Sciences with relevant specialization (such as IT, controlling, finance, etc.) or a successfully completed professional training as qualified IT / commercial specialist
- A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in (IT-)controlling or obtained with an audit, professional services or consulting firm
- Strong analytical skills with experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and cost management within IT departments or technology-based companies.
- A keen understanding of project and cost monitoring is essential.
- Familiarity with software licensing management, IT vendor oversight, and compliance protocols, particularly in a tech-driven environment servicing financial institutions.
- Demonstrated success in collaborating with cross-functional teams, particularly interfacing with finance departments, project management, and senior leadership.
- Exceptional communication skills to drive alignment across various departments and to present financial insights in a clear and actionable manner.
- Proven track record in managing complex processes, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining strict oversight on project budgets and timelines.
- Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to manage and organize multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality
- Strong project management experience, including the ability to prioritize effectively, meet deadlines, and coordinate various stakeholders
- Resilient team player with hands-on mindset, can-do attitude and the willingness to get to the bottom of things
- Business fluent proficiency in German and English, both spoken and written
