Head of Regulatory Reporting (m/f/d) – Asset Management / Product Management

Your responsibilities

LPA seeks an accomplished Head of Regulatory Reporting (m/f/d) for our Asset Management Product Management Department. This pivotal role involves leading a team of skilled Business Analysts, focusing on enhancing our products to align with the dynamic regulatory environment in Europe and the UK. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic vision, deep regulatory knowledge, and a passion for innovation in software solutions to steer our product offerings ahead of market trends. 

  • Direct and mentor a team of Business Analysts, encouraging a culture of innovation and agility in adapting to regulatory changes.
  • Deploy your comprehensive knowledge of the regulatory landscape, including MiFID/PRIIP, SFDR, AIFMD, Banking and Insurance reporting, to guide the evolution of our reporting solutions.
  • Utilize your robust network within the asset management industry, regulatory bodies, and industry associations to gain early insights into regulatory shifts.
  • Represent LPA in industry forums, showcasing our thought leadership and innovative approaches to regulatory reporting challenges.
  • Proactively research and digest regulatory updates and new frameworks, transforming these insights into strategic direction for product development and enhancements.

Your profile

  • Languages: Fluent English proficiency is required; German language skills are a bonus.
  • Work Experience: At least 7 years of relevant experience in financial technology, asset management, or a closely related field, with a strong focus on regulatory frameworks.
  • Academic Background: A Master’s degree in Law, Asset Management, Finance, or a related field is essential for this role.
  • Demonstrable leadership capabilities, with experience in guiding teams towards achieving strategic objectives.
  • Extensive network within the asset management industry, including industry associations and regulatory bodies.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of representing LPA in industry discussions and forums.
  • A meticulous, detail-oriented approach to analyzing and implementing regulatory updates and frameworks.
