Windows Server Engineer (m/f/d)

You ensure the data availability and performance of our Windows servers by administering, maintaining, and optimizing the environment to guarantee maximum stability
Together with our infrastructure architects and system engineers, you support integration and migration projects
You work on IT concepts to solve issues related to customer satisfaction, high availability, IT security, and performance optimization
You assist in the introduction of new technologies and components into the existing infrastructure
Keeping an eye on regulatory compliance requirements is part of your responsibilities

An IT qualification or a degree in computer science or a related field, combined with solid experience in systems engineering, is required
Strong knowledge of MS server topologies (e.g., Active Directory) and networks, along with hands-on experience in administering such infrastructures, is essential
Experience with Oracle databases as well as firewall and security configuration is also expected
Familiarity with data backup and restoration (e.g., VEEAM), ideally in virtualized environments, is beneficial
Experience with IaC (Bicep, Terraform), HashiCorp (Nomad, Vault), monitoring & logging tools (Grafana, Prometheus), and scripting (PowerShell, Python) is a plus
Fluency in English is required, and German language skills are advantageous or a willingness to learn is welcomed
Analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and decision-making abilities are key attributes that define your profile
