(Senior) Software Developer OTC (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

Lucht Probst Associates (LPA) is at the forefront of providing specialized software solutions to the banking and financial sectors. For over two decades, LPA has harnessed technology to empower client businesses with innovative solutions. As we continue to grow and evolve, we are seeking an exceptional individual to join us as (Senior) Software Developer (m/f/d) in our Frankfurt am Main office. 

Your Mission  
As a (Senior) Software Developer (m/f/d), your expertise will be pivotal in developing our flagship software Captano. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that customer requirements are implemented efficiently, with a keen eye on quality, compliance and performance. Working closely with product management, you will help keep us further develop and modernize OTC software portfolio, enabling LPA to achieve its strategic objectives.
  • Further development of our software solutions for the capital markets business
  • Analysis of complex problems and development of solutions in collaboration with motivated colleagues in effective scrum teams
  • Maintaining and further development of our financial product libraries
  • Carrying out developer tests and drawing up the relevant technical documentation
  • Clarification of technical questions and creation of IT concepts – with and for our discerning customers
  • Evaluation and introduction of new technologies and concepts

Your profile

  • Has a quantitative academic background, e.g. a Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics, Mathematics or Physics or a comparable qualification
  • Has a solid understanding of financial mathematics and an interest in financial markets, products and models
  • Is enthusiastic abound capital markets and the associated business processes
  • Has some practical programming experience – ideally based on Microsoft C#/.NET
  • Possesses one to two years of relevant work experience, preferably with initial exposure to the financial sector as a software developer.
  • Highly developed analytical and conceptual skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with German language skills being highly desirable
