Your responsibilities
Our CapTech office in Singapore offers a great steppingstone position for a Business Developer (m/f/d) in Singapore. Why do we call it steppingstone position? Because you will build a small team to fulfill our mission to grow lpa_ business, network, and presence in APAC. You will not start from scratch as lpa_’s existing networks in asset management, banks, and other financial institutions as well as our affinity for financial markets will help you to expand our business with existing and new clients. Our team size in Singapore is two. But you can count on strong support via remote expert teams based in Frankfurt and elsewhere on the globe with technical know-how, passion and can-do mindset.The lpa_ Group was founded in 1999 and is well established in financial markets industry with its meanwhile 400 capital market experts. - Identify new market trends, opportunities, and untapped customer segments
- Building and maintaining relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Participating in industry events
- Closing deals and negotiating contracts with new clients and partners
- Developing and executing strategic plans to achieve business development objectives
- Working with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and operations to ensure a coordinated approach to business development
- Keeping track of performance metrics and reporting on the success of business development initiatives
Your profile
- Experience in business development
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Personality that wins clients and colleagues over
- High level of intrinsic motivation, commitment, and reliability
- Strategic thinking, analytical approach, and hands on mentality
- Strong planning and prioritization skills
- A degree in business administration or a comparable qualification
- Knowledge of the financial services industry and its key stakeholders and market influencers
- Fluency in written and spoken English
